I reached out to Maxim to perform a feminine hygiene product review a sampling of their products because I love that thy are all 100% Certified Natural and Organic Cotton. As people know on here I have been trying to be as eco-friendly as I can and love when I find a great new product. The idea of having a softer, natural product that I am using just makes sense when it comes to pads and tampons since the skin down there is so sensitive.
Check out what Maxim has to say about itself before I continue on with my review:
We, here at Maxim, are a little particular when it comes to hygiene. So, whether it’s that time of the month or any other time of the month, we think it’s very important that women receive information about what’s going in to their bodies, especially the most intimate parts of their bodies. Therefore, we’ve provided some helpful points below, about Maxim’s unique qualities, to help guide your decision making and thoughts on the importance of keeping your products most intimate products organic and natural.
They were kind enough to send me multiple feminine hygiene products to review. They offer a wide variety of products from tampons to pads and cosmetic accessories. All of these products feature the following benefits:
- Made with 100% Certified Organic & Natural Cotton
- Chlorine/Dioxin Free
- Synthetic Free
- Wood Fluff Pulp Free
- Hypoallergenic/Irritation Free
- Eco-Friendly & User-Friendly
The initial reason that I requested to review their products was for these. I am picky about my tampons. I buy the cheap ones when I have to but I really hate using them. The applicators are always rough and they are usually hard for me to push inside. These ones are really nice. They sent me the ones with an applicator because I find the ones without to be too hard to use without them due to my fingers being so weak and awkward. The applicator on these is really nice and isn’t real rough when using it. The tampons itself are real soft and I cannot really feel them when they are in unlike some other brands where they feel bulky and rough. I found that their regular ones lasted longer letting the whole thing get soaked before the string would be soaked unlike some that I have to change early because the string gets all nasty and it isn’t even half used.
Now, I don’t normally use pads or pantiliners, but these I like a lot because they are real thin and they are real soft. It doesn’t feel like I am wearing much of anything. I also found them to be great at the beginning and end of the cycle when wearing a tampon is silly because I am only spotting. These would also be great use during a pregnancy if you spot a little or if you happen to have a yeast infection that you are treating so that no discharge gets onto your panties because you wouldn’t want to ruin them or stain them.
The Organic Cotton Balls that they sent me I had not known they would be including in the review, but I loved how they used this bag as stuffing for the box. It was a great way for them to be eco-friendly while also giving me an additional item to review. These cotton balls are very soft and work very well.
