Buying holiday gifts for mom is completely different than buying a gift for your special someone. As you get older sometimes it feels difficult to do, but you really just need to think about a practical gift for mom or something you think she wants, but won’t spend the money on for herself. That is why it is important to think before you buy.
If you struggle with finding the perfect holiday gifts for mom then you should look no further because I have put together quite the list of great products for mom this year!
Vyve Splashpants make for the perfect gift for the active mom in your life. I don’t know about your mom, but personally as a mom I hate changing at the beach to go swimming. I have too much to think about already just getting my son ready for the water. Splashpants are perfect because they work as day to day pants, but at the same time they are made for the water as well. This means once my son is ready for the water I can chase after him and not have to worry about being in street clothes because I already am in swim bottoms! They just happen to be pants.
Sometimes mom just want a practical gift for the holidays and the All Season Climate Manager is perfect for the mom with a drafty house. She can use it to warm up the bedroom or if she is worried about her little one she can use it to regulate the temperature in their room. It uses infrared heat which means it stays cool to the touch and it has an anti-tip feature so if it tips over it will turn itself off. This is something that you will want to gift someone like me who happens to live in a drafty, cold basement and wants to keep my little one warm at night without having to really crank the heat up in the entire house.
If the mom in your life has a little one who takes bottles then you might just want to check out the BlueSmart Mia! The BlueSmart mia is a handy little device that goes on the bottom of your baby’s bottle. It will help you to track milk consumption, it has a timer on it so you know if the breastmilk or formula has been out too long, and it has a temperature sensor to let you know if the milk is too hot or too cold. This is great for new moms or for babysitters like grandma or grandpa. There is an app that it syncs to so that moms know how their baby is doing even when they are away from baby.
I love practical gifts and one thing I will admit that one of the things I really, really hate are kitchen sponges. They are so helpful when cleaning dishes, but god they smell disgusting after one use. No matter what I do I just can’t get that smell out of my nose. That is why the SpongeBath is one of the best inventions ever (well for kitchen cleaning). I love the SpongeBath because it allows me to clean my sponges while they aren’t in use. This is seriously a great budget friendly gift for a mom in your life.
I don’t know if the mom in your life stresses out about the little things in life, but I surely do. One of the things that stresses me out as a stay-at-home mom is that fact that I feel like I need to constantly keep my son occupied and while I do that I also want it to be fun and educational, but I just never feel like I can come up with enough activities. That is why I am recommending the Nourishing Small Minds Curriculum as a great gift for a mom of a toddler. It gifts her all the activities and educational materials she will need to teach and interact with her toddlers. Go check it out because it really seems like it will be a game changer for stay-at-home moms with their little ones who are just dying to learn something new.
The DidyKlick Baby Carrier makes for an excellent Holiday gift for a mom who needs to find a way to be hands free with a clingy child. This baby carrier is made in Germany and features a hybrid style with a buckle around the waist that is easily adjusted and straps that you wrap and tie around you to keep baby secure and snuggled inside the baby carrier. This carrier is great for any mom,, but especially great for a mom with a physical disability like mine. The large bottom buckle is easy enough to clip and un-clip on your own and tying the straps is really easy. I love Prima Star, but there are many different patterns out there to choose from. Go check them out and let me know which is your favorite.
These Davy Nursing Pajamas make for the perfect gift for a mom who is currently pregnant or breastfeeding. I will admit that I wish I had these when I was pregnant and when Raiden was little. I am able to stay warm and comfortable in these jammies while still being able to easily get access to my boobs to feed my son in the middle of the night. No nursing mom will want to miss out of these pajamas. They are lightweight yet warm and are soft to the touch. If you are looking for a comfort item as a gift then this is what you will want to get your hands on.
