This is a sponsored post thanks to First Years, who is excited to have me talk about Cars 3!
Cars 3 is coming out soon and I know that many families have toddlers who just love the Cars movies! If your children love the movies then you will want to keep reading. I am very excited to have a movie night with my son and show him the wonder that is Cars and thanks to the First Years I will be able to do it while he sits in his new First Years Disney/Pixar Cars Booster Seat.
I have used a few different Booster Seats for my son in the past year and there have been Pro’s and Con’s to all of them. The Pro’s definitely out-weigh the Con’s this time around. The first thing I will have to say about this chair is that I love how cute it is! The Cars image on it is the best. I wish they might have put images on the side of the seat as well, but I know my son can’t see those so they don’t matter as much. He just loves that there are cartoons on his new seat!
I love how this seat helps save space! I can put away my highchair and use this booster seat instead. It is even less bulky than other booster seats on the market. I love that it will fit on smaller chairs and when it is installed on our chairs around the table my son can easily rest his feet on the chair instead of having them dangle in the air like happened with other booster seats we have used in the past.
As someone who has limited hand strength I have to say that I loved the buckles that you use to attach to the chair. These buckles were easy for my to squeeze and I was able to attach and unattach the booster seat without someone’s aide. I will admit that the buckles for the harness are difficult for me. I was able to press them, but it took a few attempts before I was able to unclip them. (This is an issue I have every time he uses the seat.)
I thought the tray was going to be an issue because it clips on both sides, but I was able to grip the sides well and clip it onto the seat. I will say that you need to be very precise on where you clip the tray on because you have to get right in the center of the grooves or else the tray will pop right off.
This seat is easily the most portable booster seat that I have came across. You are able to fold this seat up so that you can save space as well as easily carry it on the go. If you are in the need for a seat that can easily be taken to grandmas house then this is the one for you.
Overall I would say that I am very pleased with how this seat works. As an added perk the fact that it is also a Cars 3 booster seat it makes my son actually want to sit in his seat.
