I contacted SodaStream a while back and was given the opportunity to review one of their models. They ended up sending out one of their white Source Starter Kit Models to me and to say that I was excited was an understatement! I couldn’t wait to reveal everything that they sent to me and see exactly what I would be getting to sample!
Unpackaging everything revealed quite the selection of drink flavors for me to try! I couldn’t believe how many flavors they sent me. Not only did they send me 10 flavors plus the box of sample flavors that comes in the Starter Kit, but they actually offer even more flavors that you can buy at the store. I had no idea of just how many flavors there really are for the SodaStream.
The assembly for the device is really simple. All you have to do is open up the back cover and take out the empty canister that you use to make the soda in and open up your CO2 tank and insert it into the back and then put the cover back onto the device to keep the CO2 tank safe and the SodaStream looking nice and slick looking.
Not only is it easy to assemble, but it also is easy to make soda. All you have to do is fill the canister with water to the fill line and then slide it into place on the SodaStream and it will click in without having to do anything else. You then push down the top front of the device until it buzzes up to three times to get the optimal fizz that you like with your soda. I personally like my pop very fizzy so, I always do the three rounds of fizz in my water.
Once you are done with that you just remove the canister and slowly pour in the flavoring in, of your choosing, and put the lid on. Slowly mix in the flavor by rolling the canister in your hand.
The SodaStream is a great device for the home. It is an easy and fast way to make pop of any flavor you desire and is easy enough that a child can make their own.
