Build Your Cat a Better Life

January 23, 2016 by Ashley 1 Comment

I love my cats, even if I have been only talking about babies as of late.  I blame that on the fact that I am pregnant; I get distracted by all of the new baby things going on in my life.  One thing that I have noticed is that cats and babies both are very expensive.  I have always tried to find ways to cut corners when it comes to buying big ticket items because living on a fixed income can be difficult at times.  Now, with my baby on the way I am getting even more creative on saving a buck here and there.

Why not build your cat a better life?

That is why I was so excited when I found this awesome infographic that shows some amazing like do it yourself projects for to help you build your cat a better life.  You will see some awesome toys, trees, and more things that your kitties will love.  I have looked into many of these products in the store and I just cannot let myself buy them because they cost so much money.  I would rather spend a little extra money on buying them premium food and litter instead of gadgets and gizmos.

Now that I know how to make much of this I am thinking I will be making a couple of these things.  It will be quite easy for me seeing as I have a lot of the materials already lying around the house.  I might as well put some of these unnecessary items to use especially as something special and fun for them before the baby arrives and disrupts my normal routines with them.

Why Green Cleaning is Important

January 16, 2016 by Ashley 1 Comment

It can be important to hire a green carpet cleaning company that can help you to have clean and sanitized flooring. There are many benefits of green cleaning. You want to hire a professional company that can completely clean your home without using harsh chemicals that can cause health problems. There are many green companies like Green Choice Carpet Cleaning NYC. You want to find one that you can rely on to make sure that your home stays safe and healthy for you and your family.

It Will Keep Your Products Safe

The right green cleaning products will clean your carpets and fabrics with ease. When you hire a professional company that knows how to properly care for your materials, they can make sure that your carpets and more look great. They will care for your items without using dangerous chemicals.

Safer to Breathe

You can feel good about breathing in green cleaning fumes. They will not be as dangerous as the chemicals that are used in traditional cleaning products. If you breathe in or digest certain chemicals, they could cause you to be fatigued. They can also cause dizziness or nausea. The wrong products can also lead to breathing problems and more serious illnesses if people are exposed to them for a long period of time. When you choose a green cleaning company, you can be sure that the products they use will be safer for you to breathe than chemicals from other companies.

Protect Your Children or Pets

Small children and pets play on your carpeted floors. Strong cleaning chemicals can cause skin irritation as well as eye irritation. You should be sure that your floors are only cleaned with green products if your children or pets walk or play on them.

Green cleaning companies can help to make your home unpolluted. You should be sure to only hire professional who use safe products to clean your property. It can be a good investment to hire a cleaning company that will clean your carpets and upholstery with products that will not make it hard for you to breathe. A green cleaning company can beautify your home and help improve the quality of air that you breathe as well.

Love A Bowl Full Of Fancy Feast® Broths

July 28, 2014 by Ashley 2 Comments

Fancy Feast® BrothsI love my cats, but Mr. Deimos is a finicky eater.  That’s why I was thrilled at the opportunity to try out Fancy Feast® Broths as a part of this sponsored post program.  You might be wondering why I would be so thrilled to be a part of this sponsored post program and  that is what I want to explain to you.  My Mr. Deimos is not like his brother and is crazy picky when it comes to what treats and cat food he will eat.

Fancy Feast® Broths are different from any other cat food that I have ever given my two lovable kitty cats.  These broths are different for a few different reasons.  The first being the fact that they are made with no fillers and no by-products.  I love this about the food because I know that I prefer eating real food rather than food that contains fillers so why should I subject my pets to food that contains such ingredients?  The answer is that I should not subject them to such low quality food.

Fancy Feast® Broths Fancy Feast® Broths Fancy Feast® Broths

My cats deserve to eat food that is natural and full of nutrients. Each pouch of Fancy Feast® Broths is perfectly portioned, in a ready-to-pour pouch that includes a variety of eight lickable tastes and textures along with tender bites of high-quality real seafood your cats are sure to love just as mine have.  I was able to allow my kitty cats to sample two of the eight flavors and they both were rather ecstatic over these delectable broths.

These eight different varieties feature real seafood in vegetables served in either a classic or creamy savory broth.  I can tell you that I will be buying these little Fancy Feast® Broths for my cats on a regular basis now.  Well, actually not just my cats, but my friend’s cats as well because I do love to spoil his fur babies as well.  Do you have picky eaters in your home, too?  I would love to hear what your picky eaters will eat and won’t eat.

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf Fancy Feast®.

Throwback Thursday – My Precious Kitties – Farewell Gonzo

May 22, 2014 by Ashley 3 Comments

My cats the first day I brought them home.
My cats the first day I brought them home.

 Throwback Thursday Kitties

Looking back at my pictures made me think about the day that I brought my kitties home for the first time. The vet said that they were between 4-6 months old. They were an early birthday present for me as we had, had to put down our cat, Tigger, only a month prior to getting these fur babies. It was January of 2011 and they changed my life..

I am sad to say that during my last move one of my fur babies got away and I was unable to find him. It has been two weeks now with just my one kitty and my puppy and I still miss Gonzo. (Gonzo is the grey striped cat on the right.) I think I will keep missing him for a very long time.  For now this is all I can do to mourn the loss of my precious kitty cat.

Gonzo I love you where ever you may be!

I hope that you are safe from harm!

Join us in linking up your Throwback Thursday post! All you have to do is find a picture from over a year ago and post it telling the story that goes with the image!  Don’t forget to include the hashtag #ThrowbackThursday #tbt in your social media shares!!
