Keep That Energy Up By Staying Caffeinated While Moving

June 6, 2018 by Ashley Leave a Comment

I was compensated by Ninja with free products in exchange for this post.

Moving can be a very taxing task and one thing that I know is that my family needed to stay caffeinated in order to keep up with the fast move from one house to another. We moved 30 minutes away and were not using movers of any sort! We knew that we wouldn’t have the extra money to put toward movers so instead we sought out help from family and friends.

Ninja Coffee Bar System with Glass Carafe

During the moving process the first thing I did was stock up the fridge with beverages and made sure to unpack the coffee maker so that we would be able to make enough coffee for everyone that would be helping out as well as crashing at our new house!

Our new Ninja Coffee Bar was a hit! We were able to brew a carafe in the morning for everyone and throughout the day we could brew another carafe or people could quickly brew a single cup for themselves if they wanted it. This made everyone happier with our long days working away at the house.

The Ninja Coffee Bar is especially helpful because it does have the ability to brew the carafe or the single cup of coffee as well as it has the ability to froth milk if you are wanting to make a latte. This last part is especially important to me because I love lattes and now I can make my own at home. This saves me money, time, and sanity! We just all loved having the ability to make coffee the way we wanted it when we wanted it.

We pair our Ninja Coffee Bar with our new Vremi Coffee Grinder! The Coffee Grinder gives us the ability to have fresh coffee that has a bolder taste every day. It has allowed us to realize that we were missing out by purchasing pre-ground coffee all these years.  There is something extra tasty about coffee that is made with freshly ground coffee beans.  I don’t know the science behind it, but it must have a more potent flavor because it is able to hold it all inside until the bean is ground up.

Of course an added plus is the fact that this coffee grinder and coffee bar look like they should come together.  Their sleek black designs match most modern kitchens.  Our kitchen is a little bit of a hodge podge of different appliances since we have not had the chance to upgrade the stove and fridge that came with the house, but that’s okay.  While those big appliances are white I am pleased with the fact that all of our small kitchen appliances are black and look great with our newly painted purple walls.

So go get caffeinated with some new coffee products!

Get Your Caffeine Drip With DripJoy This Holiday Season

December 12, 2016 by Ashley Leave a Comment

This post and my caffeine addiction is sponsored by DripJoy this holiday season.

The holidays are always so much fun, but half way through them I swear I need a caffeine drip to get me through the rest of the holidays.  I somehow make it through, but it is never easy.  This year is going to be different for me because I have DripJoy to help me get through those hard days when I think I am going to pass out from exhaustion.  I love DripJoy because it is so easy to use and I can easily make a cup of coffee while I am running around.

Getting My Caffeine Fix

caffeine

Getting my caffeine fix became easier once I had a Keurig in the home.  Making coffee this way is so much faster.  All I have to do is insert a pod and press a button.  It can’t get much easier than that.  I enjoy a variety of coffee blends, but I love the convenience of DripJoy just as much as I LOVE the flavor of their coffee.  I have sampled their French Elation, and Colombian Cheer coffees.  French is my favorite because it is such a bold, robust flavor while Colombian is Ben’s favorite.  He says he loves the undertones in the coffee over the flavors in the French.  Both are equally amazing.

The bold flavors aren’t the real reason I feel like DripJoy is a life saver.  The real reason is because it is a subscription service.  They help you decided how much coffee to receive every month based off of how many people are drinking coffee regularly in the home.  Subscription services are my favorite because they make it so I have one less thing to stress about and not having coffee in the home is definitely something to stress about.

Everyone Enjoys Coffee

May 29, 2014 by Ashley Leave a Comment

It is not uncommon to see people enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning to wake up or a cup of coffee with dinner to help wind down before bed. In the past, coffee was typically consumed black or with sugar or cream. Today, there are a wide variety of flavors and extras that you can put in to customize your coffee drinking experience.

Make Your Drink as Sweet as You Can

Remington iCoffee BrewerIf you go to a coffee shop, you can put one or more shots of espresso, extra sugar or artificial flavoring that will add to the sweetness of your drink. Such flavors can make your drink taste like coffee mixed with fruity flavors such as watermelon or blueberry. Teenagers and younger adults tend to be proponents of such flavors because it makes there drink taste less like something their parents would drink.

How Tall Should Your Drink Be?

These days, a tall coffee is now considered to be a small and what would be considered extra large several decades ago is now just a large. While consuming such a large coffee may not be the healthiest option, it may represent the best value for your money. In most shops, the tallest drink is only a $1 more than the smallest drink. If you go to the coffee shop with a group of people, you may be able to buy one super-sized drink and separate it into smaller portions for each person.

Make a Custom Drink at Home

coffeeCustom drinks can be made at home if you know where to find the right equipment. Many grocery stores will sell branded coffee beans and syrup that you can combine to create the same drink at home that you would get at the coffee shop. The best part is that you will most likely spend less per cup without having to deal with such large portion sizes. If your coffee machine ever breaks, you can find Bunn coffee maker parts and other branded parts online for a reasonable price.

Coffee is something that people of all ages consume on a regular basis. Consumers who are looking for the best value on their next drink may wish to buy coffee at the grocery store, make it at home and get the same drink that they could get at the coffee shop for a much lower price per cup.

A Coffee Lovers Dream! iCoffee Remington Review

May 23, 2014 by Ashley Leave a Comment

I have always been a coffee lover and that is why for Mother’s Day this year I shared with you all some fun little Printables for Mother’s who also love coffee! My favorite was the “Dear Mom, I Love You a Latte!”  Anyway, I got sidetracked; maybe I need a little more coffee to get my mind on track.  I want to tell you all about the Remington iCoffee Brewer that I was given to review.  This was a big deal for me because when I moved from Michigan to Indiana I was unable to bring a coffee maker with me and I was going crazy without my daily coffee intake.

iCoffee Remington Review

Remington iCoffee Brewer
Getting ready for the unveiling!

I was pretty jittery when I got the box onto the counter. All I could think was that in mere minutes I would be able to have a cup of coffee and boy was I craving one right then.  I had to steady myself some and not let myself get too excited or else I knew my hands weren’t going to cooperate with me and let me get the brewer out of the box.  I took a few slow, deep breaths and did the honors of getting my newer brewer out of the box.

My iCoffee Brewer and Starbucks COffee.
My iCoffee Brewer and Starbucks Coffee.

Once I got it out of the box I made sure that I grabbed my new bag of ground Starbucks coffee from the shelf and got everything ready for my first cup! (Starbucks is in no way affiliated with this post though I would LOVE to be able to work with them on a professional level some day.)  I brewed my first cup of coffee and instantly fell in love.  This brewer has a nice big display for the time.  I love that I can set an alarm so that it will start brewing the coffee for me while I am running around.  Another amazing feature is the fact that it plays a little tune when it is done with brewing the coffee.

The little tune that it plays is nice and loud so that I can still hear it go off when it is done making my coffee.  My cup off coffee was just so tasty!! I added just a little sugar and milk to my coffee like I always do and sipped away at its glorious taste!

Where To Buy

You can find this iCoffee Brewer from Remington all over the internet, but if you are an Amazon shopper like I am then you might want to buy it off of Amazon.  If you do not want to buy it there then I would suggest doing a Bing search or going straight to the iCoffee website for more information.
