Am I a Valentine’s Day Traditionalist?

February 11, 2019 by Ashley Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored post thanks to Teleflora for their Valentine’s Day Specials.

Teleflora Valentine's Day Bouquet

I don’t often say that I am a traditionalist, but one thing I will admit is that I love getting flowers. It doesn’t have to be for a special day, but I really do love getting flowers for holidays. Heck I don’t even care if I buy them for myself. Hahaha.

I just love how fresh flowers brighten up a room and one’s mood so if I have the chance to get a bouquet of flowers or a small plant then I take it. Of course because of Valentine’s Day is coming up I have been browsing through the different bouquets of flowers to gift myself this year and I got myself the beautiful bouquet that is pictured above all thanks to Teleflora.

Valentine’s Day Special Bouquets

Teleflora has some amazing different holiday themed bouquets that you can choose from. My current favorite is the Teleflora Sterling Love Bouquet. This bouquet of flowers features fresh red roses, pink Asiatic lilies and red Alstroemeria that are all arranged inside a stunning blown glass vase. I know that even when these flowers wilt and get dried I will be able to refresh the vase with fresh flowers on a regular basis.

My flowers are pictured above and are the center-piece to our kitchen table. I cannot get enough of them. The flowers are beautiful and smell amazing. I am ever do thankful that days have passed by and still the flowers are fresh and undamaged. This is quite the feat with three cats and a toddler in the home. Of course it makes me smile when I catch either the cats or my son taking a moment to smell the flowers and enjoy them as much as I do.

Teleflora Valentine's Day Bouquet

The perfect little shower of love.

Now, if you happen to want to purchase flowers for your gal and she has to work on Valentine’s Day then I recommend you get her either the Country Sweetheart Bouquet or the Happy Harmony Bouquet. These options are stunning and come in smaller containers so they aren’t as tall and fit nicer on a desktop. These are also great options to remember to look for your significant other on other special occasions. For instance they make for great end of the year presents to teachers and great spur of the moment gestures of your love for them.

If none of these bouquets seem to pique your interest then I highly recommend you check out their entire Best-Selling Valentine’s Day Flowers. Teleflora offers a wide-variety of different options and you can always browse through the rest of their website if your significant other isn’t the biggest fan of roses, the color red, or pink. I can guarantee that you will find something extra special with their favorite flowers.

Will you be getting a Teleflora bouquet for Valentine’s Day?

If you are looking for kids Valentine’s Day ideas then I recommend you check out this cute post about allergy friendly Valentine’s Day options.

Gymboree Holiday Toddler Boy Collection

I personally will be shopping the Holiday Toddler boy collection for my crazy little monkey.  I love him to death and want him to feel extra special during the holidays.  That is why I have scoured through all of their holiday clothes and have found some pretty awesome holiday outfits for my son.  (We celebrate holidays on 7 different days so I wanted an outfit for each day!)

My Favorites

My two personal favorites are pictured here.  I love the Star Wars sweater and would love to have my son wear it for Christmas Eve Eve with my family because so many of my family members are huge Star Wars fans.  I just know they would get a kick out of it just like I do.  The second one I chose for my son he loves Minions and I just knew he would love this shirt that is covered with Minions on it.

Peter Rabbit Outfits are Perfect for Your Little Ones First Easter

January 30, 2017 by Ashley Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored post that contains affiliate links that if purchased through will give me a commission that helps me to keep this site running.

Kids now-a-days may not know who Peter Rabbit is, but us parents do.  Starting today Gymboree has partnered with Peter Rabbit to provide a special clothing line that is here just in time to get ready for Easter.  These adorable little outfits for both boys and girls just make for the cutest little first Easter outfits.  I will admit that for my son’s first Easter I did not have a special outfit for him and I wish I had, had one.  He was only a month old and we didn’t own many newborn sized outfits.

As you can see these outfits are really cute and can only be found at Gymboree retailers.  Don’t wait to see if your local store will have them; instead grab one online before they run out of these cute little Easter outfits.  If you don’t have a little one, but know someone that is expecting or someone with a new little one in their home snag one of these cute little outfits for them.

Don’t Let The Holidays Keep You Down Due to Back Pain

December 21, 2016 by Ashley 3 Comments

This is a sponsored post thanks to TruMedic.  They are here to help us all rid ourselves of back pain.

Holidays most years are something that I really dread.  That might sounds a little grinch-ish, but for me it is true.  I hate the holidays because the weather gets cold and there is so much to get done in such a short amount of time.  It is impossible to keep pushing yourself when you live with chronic back pain.  I have always struggled on a day to day basis for many reasons, but one of the big reasons is due to back pain.  I am also one to religiously go to my naturopath for healing, but I can only afford to go there so often and most of the time it isn’t often enough.

This year all of that has changed for me because I have been able to sample trueMedic’s InstaShiatsu Plus Neck & Back Massager as well as their TM-1000PRO Deluxe TENS Unit.  Having the many health problems that I have can cause me to struggle many days due to chronic pain.  One of the main culprits is my cervical spine.  I have a lot of back problems and my cervical spine is curved a lot.  Due to the curvature in my cervical spine I get a lot of neck pain.  If you were to touch the back of my neck you would find a very large knot that I cannot ever seem to get rid of.  The muscles are just too tight.

Rid yourself of that neck pain with trueMedic’s InstaShiatsu Massager

When I first opened the InstaShiatsu Massager I knew that I needed to try it out on my neck as soon as possible.  I let it charge that night and the next day I put the thing on.  I will admit that it is a little awkward at first because it is so big and bulky, but let me tell you – when you first start feeling that thing massage your sore muscles you will be in heaven.  I now end my days by using it on my neck and shoulders.  While I have not gotten rid of the knot in my neck it has gotten smaller and I have a bigger range in motion than I had before.

Photo Credit: TruMedicNow let’s tackle that annoying back pain

I was also given the TM-1000PRO Deluxe TENS Unit to review and I will admit that I have only used it once or twice because my mother-in-law needs it more than I do.  She hurt her back a couple of months ago and is still struggling to get it to heal.  She had been going to a doctor, chiropractor, and a masseuse weekly with very little improvement, but once she added the TENS Unit into her daily regimen things began to change.  For awhile she was upset because she was unable to pick up her grandbabies, but now thanks to the TENS Unit she is able to carry them without too much pain.  If she over exerts herself in a day she will ice then heat her back and finish off the evening with the use of the TENS Unit and she finds that the pain she had been feeling is no longer there.

If you are having issues like we were/are then I suggest you look into both of these devices.
