Ladies’ Night Out – Part 2 – Reija Eden Jewelry Review

August 24, 2014 by Ashley Leave a Comment

This post is sponsored by Reija Eden Jewelry and Crossroads Media Hub.

In my previous post about Reija Eden Jewelry I talked about my ideal outfit for a Ladies’ Night Out and in this post I will be reviewing the surprise necklace that I was sent  by Reija Eden Jewelry to review.

love-necklace

They sent me this lovely silver love necklace to review.  I love the simplistic-ness of the necklace while it looks elegant at the same time.  This necklace is handcrafted in the US and is made out of Rhodium plated brass.  This is a good thing for me because that means that there is no nickle in the necklace and when it comes to silver jewelry I always have to be extra careful due to the fact that I am allergic to nickel.

The necklace comes packaged nicely in a sleek black gift box to make gifting and storing even easier when it is not being worn.  I was very pleased with the packaging for the necklace and know that this will be something that I will frequently wear.

The clasp on the necklace is one of your standard clasps.  It works well, though being someone who has dexterity issues I find it impossible to be able to work the clasp mechanism on my own and do have to ask for help from a friend to put the necklace on.  This is not something out of the ordinary in my life.

Amazing Mother’s Day 2013 Infographic

May 7, 2013 by Ashley Leave a Comment

Mother’s Day is around the corner and we need to focus on mom’s for a little while.  Did you know that most mom’s don’t want jewelry for Mother’s Day?  A poll was taken and only about 5% actually wanted jewelry.  Another 39% said that they want a day to themselves while 25% said they want to spend the day with their family and finally the last 12% said that they want a day without chores.  I think that giving mom’s these things means more to her than does giving her something physical.  It is the small things that matter in life.

I love the priceless things that they suggest on the infographic below to give mom for Mother’s Day.   Giving her a massage, clean the house, cook for her & her friends, and to make a tribute video for her.  All of the ideas are creative and won’t cost you anything but a little bit of time from your day.

Eternity Rings for Women

April 27, 2013 by Ashley 1 Comment

eternity rings

Jewelry is an exceptional gift for the women in your life. The pieces can be worn on a daily basis or for special occasions. They can also become heirlooms if they are passed down to younger generations. deBebians.com offers eternity rings for women. They are beautiful with diamonds or birthstones encircling the entire ring, a never-ending circle to symbolize a never-ending love or admiration of the recipient.

The rings come in many different settings from pave and micro pave, shared prong, bar and U-shaped settings, 4-prong and antique settings. They can be white gold, rose gold, yellow gold or platinum. With so many options, there is something to suit every taste and style. Micro Pave settings allow for the close setting of several stones, making for an incredible amount of sparkle. A single row of a pave setting is dainty and classic. Single prong eternity rings make for a gorgeous wedding band. A 4-prong setting allows for more security for the gemstones you choose. Bar settings helps bring in the beautiful metal you choose with the design. Smooth channel settings keep your ring from getting caught on things.

Whether you opt for all diamonds or combine them with other gem stones, eternity rings are the perfect gift for a wedding anniversary, milestone birthday or graduation. With the wide variety of styles and settings, there is sure to be something to suit your loved one in a price range you can afford. Give a gift they will treasure for years to come.
