And Just Yell “Plot Twist” At The Top Of Your Lungs

July 24, 2013 by Ashley Leave a Comment

Trash Can Blogger Writing PromptPlot Twist.  Yes, I did just start this out with that simple phrase.  Why?  Well, I do actually have a reason (For once I am not being completely random.)  This weeks writing prompt we were given the option of selecting something to write about by selecting one of the two images on the post.  I decided to chose the second one however I have made my own version of it.  In my life just like everyone’s there have been some seriously hard times and this is seriously something I have wanted to do.

Plot Twist 600 x 600I admit to you right here and right now.  I am one of those dorky people who when she is with her friends says crazy off the wall things.  I love video games, plays, and singing.  I was the girl in plays, musicals, and choir running around like crazy in high school.  My friends can vouch for me an if they see this I hope they leave a comment just to prove my point.

I can tell you of a few times throughout my life when i just wanted to throw myself down onto my knees and throw my arms in the air and just scream “PLOT TWIST” in the air in hopes that magically things would change.  It’s like in a movie or play and all of a sudden you jump because you are shocked by the sudden change in direction the whole thing is taking.

That is what I wanted in my life pretty much all throughout high school and a few times since then, but I can honestly say that I like the new twists that have been brought into my life the past few months and I am not ready to scream “Plot Twist” right now.

Independence Day Wordless Wednesday

Independence Day is tomorrow!

Independence Day is tomorrow and it just seemed appropriate that I show case my pride in America and my beliefs as a young woman who believes in our founding fathers and everything that they stood for!  Remember tomorrow is the day that we as a people gained independence from Britain.  It is a day for celebrations and to remember everything that build this country.  So, enjoy my pictures and think about what our country was founded on and try to think about if that is the country we are living in right now.  We need to get back to our roots!

Independence DayAs a child I know I did not think about what the “4th of July” really was and that is why I want to focus on it being a day of celebration, but that we also remember what we are celebrating and why it is such a big deal.independence day
