This is a sponsored post for Santa HQ.
Raiden is almost two years old now and I have really been pushing the concept of Santa and his elves with him this year so we were pleased when we were asked to attend the press event for Santa HQ in Chicago this year. We all bundled up and made the drive to the Chicago Fashion Outlet Mall to witness the magic that is Santa HQ. I had never been up that way so we didn’t know what to expect, but were very excited to see what would they had created.
Santa HQ was more than we could have imagined.
Walking up to the Santa HQ was like entering a new little world. We walked through the archway and it just felt like Christmas. We were greeted by some wonderful women who showed us around and explained what each set up was. The first stop was the Naughty or Nice list and of course my little Raiden showed up on the Nice list. He is just too much of a sweetheart to be on the Naughty List. It was super easy and fun to do. Each kid would stand in front of the meter and the machine would show you just how naughty or nice the kid was. It took Raiden a moment to realize what was going on and not just walk away, but he is so little it was kind of expected.
Entering the Observatory!
From here we were whisked away to the observatory where we could see what goes on in Santa’s Workshop! It was extremely cool. You could use augmented reality through tablets that the staff had n hand or download an app to your own devices to see special hidden features! You were even able to take an ELFIE where you take a picture and they had a super cute little video of you working and dancing with the elves.
Raiden’s favorite part was the interactive system where you got to really get a look at Santa’s Workshop. He just loved pulling the levers and watching the screen change. If your kids are older they will love the augmented reality feature. I know Raiden will when he is older, but he just didn’t have the attention span for it this year.
Of course the final stop in the tour of the Santa HQ is getting a picture with Santa. We got a great one taken of us of the whole family. I however do not have a digital version of that so instead you get to see the cute picture I took of Santa, Raiden, and Ben. Of all the Santa pictures that we have I have to say this Santa was the best one because my son was not crying and he was not trying to run away. So, if you have a skiddish little one this might be the Santa you want to see.
Are you going to check out Santa HQ this year?
If you saw Santa I would love to see your pictures! Please feel free to share them in the comments or on my social media platforms!
