I love fun little silly trinkets and things and just loved these mustache cookie cutters and knew I needed to get my hands on them. I was lucky enough that Fuzzy Ink allowed me to review these cookie cutters. I knew I would need to bake cookies when I had the two teenaged boys in the house so that no cookies would go to waste.
I decided to use the recipe that was on the box that my three mustache cookie cutters came in. It is a recipe for a simple butter cookie, but when I did it the dough came out way too dry and I had to add a few little things to it to thicken it up to a cookie dough and not have it crumble on me. If you click on the image you will be able to see the recipe for yourself, if you would like to try it out for yourself. In the future if I make these cookies I am going to frost them with butter-cream frosting to liven them up a bit. I honestly was too lazy to make the butter-cream frosting because I had worked all week-long and was too sore.
These cookie cutters are made of 100% Stainless Steel which is nice so that it will last for a long time. They cleaned really nicely and the dough slid off of them real nice as well. In addition $5 from each sale is donated to the Movember Foundation. These would be great to have out at parties. I know they would make great conversation starters with adults and kids would love them as well because they are pretty silly looking and fun to play with as well as eat.
I wish I had these cookie cutters in high school because I know that all of my friends would have gotten a huge kick out of these cookies. I can picture a few of my friends holding them up to their face as if they have mustaches. My friends and I were a pretty goofy group of people who would be highly entertained by these (and probably still would be today).
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
